As a Housing Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for our residents, responsible for managing a portfolio of properties and ensuring that tenancies are sustained in a positive and supportive manner.

Oversee the management of the Council's housing management function to ensure excellent, value for money, service delivery in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
Take the lead in the operational delivery of the Council's housing service and will be responsible for:
Housing (both tenancy and estate) management for the Housing Revenue Account portfolio of properties, including the Independent Living Service and the Council owned Gypsy and Traveller site.
The postholder has responsibility for addressing tenancy and estate issues in their allocated management area.
To proactively manage a dedicated area of approximately 700 Council properties, including general needs, Independent Retirement Living (IRL), temporary accommodation and leasehold properties.
