The successful candidate will lead a team with responsibility for providing support for financial management and decision making to a department(s) of the organisation, through the delivery of a wide range of financial services, including the provision of specialist and strategic advice and information to service managers and elected Members, in a way which ensures proper accountability and compliance with statutory obligations and corporate and professional standards.

The role is to provide financial strategy & planning, financial advice, preparation of the Budget (Revenue and Capital), monitoring of Revenue and Capital budgets and maintenance of financial records, preparation of Revenue and Capital Final Accounts.
A new long term temporary Finance Manager position has become available within an established Andover based business.
As well as overseeing the finance function, the Finance Manager will also be responsible for producing the management accounts and financial reporting to the business.
The role will be to start as soon as possible and requires an individual who has prior experience in a similar role.
