Finance Manager

A new long term temporary Finance Manager position has become available within an established Andover based business. As well as overseeing the finance function, the Finance Manager will also be responsible for producing the management accounts and financial reporting to the business.

The role will be to start as soon as possible and requires an individual who has prior experience in a similar role. Accounting qualifications are not essential but would be advantageous. ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT )

Key duties of the role will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Reconciling the bank accounts and approving payments
  • Assist the team with AR or AP escalations and queries
  • Providing weekly sales and KPI reports
  • Be the point of contact for external auditors
  • Oversee all nominal, purchase and sales accounts
  • Approving payroll and expenses
  • Provide day to day support and guidance to the accounts team

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Prior all round accounts experience
  • Experience of managing or supervising staff
  • Good systems skills (intermediate/ advanced excel)
  • Demonstrate strong communication with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work to deadlines
