Recruitment is ongoing for the role of Project Manager.
The Project Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of technical, professional, legal, and commercial issues/processes related to highways/public realm project development and delivery.
The Project Manager must also have an extensive and substantiated experience in comprehensively delivering highway/public realm projects, preferably in a local authority, in line with NEC or other relevant construction contracts.
The role will be responsible for managing a team of surveyors who lead the briefing process for all new projects that will be delivered via Term Partnering Contracts (TPC).
This role will be to support the in defining both the 5 year investment programme and individual project(s) scope.
The TPC moved away from individually-procured projects to a situation whereby each Partnering Contractor will be responsible for designing and managing delivery of circa £20million per annum of major works refurbishment projects.
The post holder will ensure that all contracting and operational engineering maintenance requirements of buildings, plant, utility and infrastructure projects are specified to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety and quality standards.
Carry out root cause analysis where systems fail.
The post holder will be responsible for providing technical advice to the wider Specialist Microbiological Sites to ensure all engineering systems within the site operate efficiently on a day-to-day basis and remain compliant with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
