Recruitment is ongoing for the role of Project Manager. The Project Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of technical, professional, legal, and commercial issues/processes related to highways/public realm project development and delivery. The Project Manager must also have an extensive and substantiated experience in comprehensively delivering highway/public realm projects, preferably in a local authority, in line with NEC or other relevant construction contracts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the development and execution of projects within the Oxford Street Programme
- Commissioning and supervising the programme design and build contractor, seeking technical advice as needed
- Managing the design development, and ensuring designs are feasible, maintainable to Company standards, and align with the outlined ambitions.
- Providing support and assurance for the programme's design and works delivery in collaboration with contract and programme managers, external service providers, and stakeholders.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the public realm, transport, highways, or design fields
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Office 365
- In-depth knowledge of technical, professional, legal, and commercial issues/processes related to highways/public realm project development and delivery
- Skilled at interpreting and reviewing programme schedules for highway/public realm schemes
- Confident in negotiating contract terms as required and reviewing cost estimates for highway/public realm schemes
- Practical knowledge of highway/public realm construction, including coordinating third-party works such as private developments and utilities, and managing access and servicing requirements

PAYEE - £315.96
