As an Assessment Officer you will
Manage complex case loads that require more in depth enquires.
Manage a caseload ensuring all cases are progressed efficiently, within agreed time scales.
To assess and actively manage a caseload of housing applications from applicants who are high need with particular requirements due to their overcrowding, under-occupation, vulnerability, health, age or other needs.
2 To assist these high need housing applicants with a range of other housing options including looking at private sector alternatives, exploring social housing opportunities in other areas and applying for mutual exchange if they are an existing social housing tenant with a need to move.
3 Develop individual re-housing strategies to maximise the service provided to these applicants, liaising closely with advocates and other professionals providing support to them
