Senior Assessment Officer

If yes, Signature Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Assessment Officer to join our client, a London University. This temporary assignment starts immediately and runs for two months. It is offered on a hybrid working structure, with three days on campus and two working from home.

As a Senior Assessment Officer, you will be providing essential assistance to students, academics and other stakeholders. Your duties will include building and maintaining relationships with senior members of the team to collate and analyse data relating to Assessment management. In addition, you will have strong administrative skills and confidently organise calendars, meetings and agendas as well as take well drafted Minutes. You will also happily handle various ad-hoc administrative duties as required in order to assist the smooth running of the department.

Senior Assessment Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Confidently supporting the Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks. To include the summer period of Assessment Management
  • Coordinating student enquiries ahead of the new academic year and triaging when necessary
  • Liaising with senior members of the team to collate large data sets, ensure its accuracy and then with high attention to detail, upload to internal database
  • Assisting with general committee servicing, including calendar invites, agenda and on occasions producing well written Minutes
  • Organising activities relating to programme review and new programme approval for the September
  • Working flexibly as part of a team, assisting others in times of high-volume activity and undertaking ad-hoc administrative duties as required in order to facilitate the smooth running of the department

Senior Assessment Officer Key Skills:

  • Excellent organisation, written and verbal communication skills. This includes the ability to work professionally with a range of stakeholders, including senior members of the team
  • Highly Proficient in IT - The Microsoft Office package specifically Excel. As well as confident in using a new Management Systems
  • The ability to multitask whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail with good data entry and analytics
  • Proactive and adept at mastering new concepts with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
