This role is pivotal in driving complex procurement initiatives that deliver significant value to the organisation while ensuring excellence in the management of goods, services, and works across the portfolio.
As an Inventory and Shipping Specialist, you'll be a member of the global procurement team that is responsible for managing the full procurement life cycle across a wide variety of assets, with a heavy emphasis on technology products and hardware.
In this role, you'll handle day-to-day shipping and receiving activities, track inventory, and get involved in inventory analysis and forecasting.
You'll feel right at home if you
Have a minimum of A Levels or equivalent studies (higher education is considered an asset).
A key role with a high degree of visibility and profile, you will take ownership of and continue to embed a small high-performing team, with responsibility for the sourcing and procurement of strategic goods (indirect), services and works, global trade compliance and logistics, and the maintenance and development of Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC), policies, processes, systems and tools.
You will also provide expert guidance to decentralised procurement teams, empowering them to operate independently.
The role will see you responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the timely achievement of key milestones.
