Your new role
You will be working as a Procurement Analyst, providing support to the Procurement team and wider stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: spend analysis, opportunity analysis, supplier / market analysis, preparation of business cases and tender analysis. You will be supporting the management and maintenance of the procurement systems, crunching numbers and also tackling procurement and administrative tasks where required. The majority of the role will include researching and analysing within the procurement space, supporting procurement operations with regular reports to the procurement team and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be highly analytical and numerate, providing timely and accurate information in a clear and concise manner. You will also need to be very organised and able to prioritise between competing tasks and projects, capable of working under pressure and direction whilst using discretion to determine when to escalate issues. They are looking for someone that takes accountability for their work and responds positively to change, recognising the opportunities change brings to improve standards.
