Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist within the Financial Services sector. 2 roles, one senior, one junior. Specifically we require candidate with IT Procurement, Service Management and Vendor Management experience. You will have experience of contract management and legal issues. Any exposure to IT Infrastructure, ITIL or Information Security would be of particular interest. The Procurement Specialist will be based a minimum of 3 days per week in the London (City) office, with 2 days remote.

Required Experience as a Procurement Specialist:

  • Good understanding of complex trading software license & managed service agreements
  • Strong negotiation skills for large and complex IT procurement deals
  • In-depth understanding of the IT products and services market and its trends
  • Knows about and understands financial management, contracts and legal issues
  • Understanding of the IT procurement tools, methodologies and processes
  • Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors, projects and a wide range of tasks
  • An ability and desire to drive increased value from the nominated vendor(s)
