25 Days annual leave, increases by one day following 3 yrs, 5 yrs and 7yrs of service.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and handover of contract management to contract owners.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
The Procurement Officer will manage the procurement process, ensuring that services are purchased at optimal value while maintaining strong supplier and internal relationships.
The required Procurement Officer must come from Financial Services and CIPS qualified is a preference but not essential.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Procurement Manager and the project teams to thoroughly understand the project procurement requirements, including the procurement strategy and schedule, and be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services necessary to help deliver our clients projects.
Additionally, build and maintain strong relationships with our supply chain partners, ensuring adherence to the key principles of procurement.
A key role with a high degree of visibility and profile, you will take ownership of and continue to embed a small high-performing team, with responsibility for the sourcing and procurement of strategic goods (indirect), services and works, global trade compliance and logistics, and the maintenance and development of Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC), policies, processes, systems and tools.
You will also provide expert guidance to decentralised procurement teams, empowering them to operate independently.
The role will see you responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the timely achievement of key milestones.
