Role: Supplier Performance Manager Salary/Rate: £450 per day (inside IR35) Location: Mainly remote with UK travel Contract Duration: 6 months
We are currently looking for a Supplier Performance Manager for our government client. This Supplier Performance Manager role is based mainly remotely, with expensed travel to sites/suppliers as needed, approx. 2x per week.
The contract for the Supplier Performance Manager position is initially 6-months with potential to extend, offering a daily rate within the range of £ 350 to £ 450, operating inside IR35.
Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance")
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.
Role Profile/Responsibilities:
- Understanding of public sector commercial contracts.
- Understanding of end-to-end procurement, supplier chain services and Key Performance Indicators.
- Ability to analyse numerous data sources and systems to assess against existing contractual arrangements.
- Ability to undertake formal contractual conversations with Providers in relation to delivery of services.
- Develop proposals to escalate contract default procedures for identified deficiencies.
- Manage the disputes process through to conclusion.
- Identify and understand what KPI changes are required and presenting these to the Assurance SMT.
- Working closely with Commercial colleagues to inform/represent the business requirements for the KPI review.
- Upskilling of permanent staff to allow future proofing.
- Create and manage process and tools for progressing compliance work.
- Include production and clearance of findings and requirements, obtaining and assessing provider responses and escalation as appropriate, working closely with business and commercial colleagues.
- Assess and report on provider failings against contractual KPIs for each month performance has not been agreed, from our Findings Log and other data sources.
- Assess provider data reporting and our access to their system against contractual requirements.
- Identify and implement to conclusion solutions for bringing the provider into compliance, including formal contractual steps such as default and/or dispute mechanisms where necessary.
- Where contractual wording is an impediment to effective contract assurance, propose solutions and feed into the KPI review work.
