Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer will manage the procurement process, ensuring that services are purchased at optimal value while maintaining strong supplier and internal relationships.

The required Procurement Officer must come from Financial Services and CIPS qualified is a preference but not essential.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and handover of contract management to contract owners.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Communicate with executives to gain approval for purchasing contracts with new vendors or for new supplies.
  • Collaborate with contract owners to monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage the third-party due diligence process, including exception management.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and support cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Forecast demand for products and place orders accordingly.
  • Raise purchase orders and validate invoices.
  • Assist in the development of annual technology budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise procurement practices and processes.
