Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity, is looking to recruit a Training and Development Manager to manage and coordinate development of their training offer, including DAHA/Housing Training and Health Training.
Based: Remote
Synopsis of duties
Oversee the creation and development of training content, including the Housing DAHA team, the wider Housing team, and Health projects, including the Whole Health Approach and understanding of Women's Health strategy.
Trusted advisor Working closely with senior managers and the wider HR team to identify learning needs ; to design and procure relevant learning initiatives, solutions and interventions.
General
Working within the close knit HR department heading up the L & D provision and managing an L & D coordinator you will develop an organisational talent pipeline and ensure our people have the right knowledge, skills and behaviours to grow within their career as well fulfilling our regulatory obligations.
As a Learning Supervisor, you will supervise students when their regular teacher is absent, ensuring they complete assigned work and maintaining discipline in the classroom.
You will not teach new material but manage classroom behaviour and provide basic support to students as needed.
Your role will involve overseeing multiple subjects and age groups, working closely with other staff, and handling administrative tasks like taking attendance and reporting incidents.
