Our client, a renowned hospitality group, is seeking a HR Manager to lead their brand on everything HR, Training and Recruitment! About the Role: As the HR Manager, you will be an inspirational leader who continuously challenges, influences, and listens to the needs of individuals while aligning with the organisation's goals. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the Operations Director to align the HR function with business objectives Leading and managing HR projects and initiatives Compiling and analysing HR metrics to provide actionable recommendations Reviewing and communicating HR policies and procedures Ensuring compliance with employment law and best practises Keeping employees informed of organisational issues and updates Developing a people-focused employee engagement strategy Driving culture change to align the employee experience with the guest experience Recruitment: Providing an exceptional end-to-end recruitment service, attracting top talent Developing engaging initiatives to enhance the employer brand Taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns Coaching and training management teams on recruitment procedures Conducting total compensation market analysis Driving succession planning and understanding staffing needs Assessing recruitment and development needs and creating engagement and retention plans Leading performance and career review processes Training and Development: Developing and overseeing training and development initiatives Collaborating with the Operations Director to identify development opportunities Monitoring and assessing training activities Supporting learning through e-learning and compliance programmes Driving talent management and maintaining development plans Requirements: Proven experience as an HR Manager Strong knowledge of HR best practises and employment law Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation Experience in recruitment and talent management Passionate about fostering a positive work culture Hospitality industry experience would be advantageous LHH is an employment consultancy that believes in talent, not labels. Your new role Recruitment In collaboration with HR colleagues, develop and maintain the hiring process, ensuring that it is efficient and effective and encouraging applicants. Ensure that the recruitment system is kept up to date and is being used efficiently and correctly by hiring managers based in the UK Support hiring managers in recruitment of employees based in the UK office, offering guidance on the development and updating of job descriptions, drafting of advertisements and carrying out interviews Provide advice on visa requirements in the region and, where applicable, support employees and managers through the process to apply for work visas and permits Employment Contracts Review all UK contracts of employment to ensure accuracy, prior to sign off by the Chief Operating Officer Ensure UK contracts of employment are reviewed on a regular basis and remain compliant with relevant country legislation Review all pre-employment checks prior to an employee joining the organisation, especially right to work documentation and references, raising any issues with the Head of HR, as necessary Carry out exit interviews for UK employees, either where they have been requested or where it is appropriate Payroll, Pay and Benefits Be responsible for managing the relationship with the UK payroll provider, raising any issues with the Head of HR in a timely manner Work with our payroll providers to ensure that payroll information is sent across in a timely manner each month, thus ensuring that employees are paid correctly and on time Work with the Head of HR to introduce new payroll providers as required. Be responsible for checking that new employees are enrolled in the relevant pension / retirement schemes and other benefits in a timely manner. Provide information on current benefits to managers and employees. Policy and Process Keep relevant HR processes under review and, with agreement of the Head of HR, introduce efficiencies and automations as appropriate, especially with regards to the HRIS (Cascade). Ensure that quarterly check-ins are carried out efficiently and on time for UK employees, training managers in relation to Clear Review as required, and escalating where this is not happening Advise managers on employment legislation and terms and conditions of employment as appropriate, gaining the input of the Head of HR as needed Work with the Head of HR to ensure all HR policies are up-to-date and suggest introduction of new / updated policies as appropriate Work with other team members to ensure that any new processes, policies, improvements have a global approach and are fit for purpose across the Group Ensure compliance with legislation, particularly around GDPR General Take over the quarterly and annual reports What you'll need to succeed Be immediately available or on a 1-week notice period What you'll get in return 50% hybrid working What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
