HR & Recruitment Manager

HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment manager for our expanding client based in Fulham, London. The organisation is an SME in the construction sector and the client is looking for a stand-alone person to report directly into the Managing Director.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and work across HR projects
  • Conduct 360 recruitment and attract and retain the best talent
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
  • Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
  • Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
  • Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
  • Develop and maintain HR policies
  • Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems
  • Monitor all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team
  • Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up-to-date
  • Develop starter and leaver procedures

Person Specification

  • Proven HR and recruitment generalist experience
  • Must have previous HR experience as well as recruitment
  • Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to work autonomously and be hands-on
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to command respect
  • Experience of working in a service environment is an advantage

In return you will receive a salary of between £58,000-£60,000
