Role: Finance Assistant Location: Solihull B91 Hours: Full time Monday to Friday Salary: £30 - 35,000 dependent on experience Benefits: 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, free parking on a rota basis, progression opportunities and study support We are working on behalf of an awarding winning organisation which is seeking to bring inhouse its Finance function and are seeking a competent Finance Assistant. They have been established in their industry sector for nearly 20 years, and deliver exceptional results for their clients. As Finance Assistant, you would be solely responsible for managing the finance operations across the organisation. This will involve maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, processing monthly payroll, assist with budgets/forecasting, preparing tax submissions and preparing year end accounts to be processed by external Accountants. The long-term plan is for this role to promote into Finance Manager, leading a team beneath you then further progression to Finance Director seated on the Board providing long term strategic financial support. The business would be happy to provide sponsorship for the successful individual to achieve ACCA Chartered status in the future. This is an office based role in Solihull town centre. Working Monday to Thursday 9am until 5pm and Friday 9am until 4pm. Free parking is available on a rota basis. This role will require a DBS check due to the nature of the organisation.
