As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our commercial teamdecoding financial mysteries, uncovering hidden valuable insights, and helping to shape strategic decisions that drive our business forward - you get to be the star of that show!

Reporting to a Commercial Finance Business Partner, this role sits within a growing team of eight,amongst a wider finance team. The team is expanding because they've been dropping financial wisdom bombs left and right, and the business is all ears.

Here you'lldevelop a deep understanding of the key drivers for the business, uncovering the secret sauce behind our business success,which willenable you to deliver really valuable insight, and challenge decisions or thought processes based on your data insights, which willadd loads ofvalue and influence to ourstrategic business decisions. Cool, right?!

Your Mission

  • Dedicated support to the commercial management teams, building a strong relationships with them and their teams.
  • Providing effective commercial support and insightsto deliver against key operational, commercial, and financial targets.
  • Reporting on and understanding ourKPIs.
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the business.
  • Ownership of the monthly management accounts for youbusinessareas of responsibility.
  • Represent finance in commercial project working groups.

Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart

  • PreviousExperience: You've worked in similar fast-paced environments, possibly in retail or hospitality.
  • Excel and Analytical Skills: You pay attention to detail and work efficiently under time pressure.
  • MI Tools Proficiency: You're familiar with MI tools like Cognos, TM1, and Aptos.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Skills: You have hands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Motivated and Self-Sufficient Individuals: You take initiative and proactively seek solutions.
  • Inquisitive and Confident Thinkers: You question assumptions and processes with confidence.
  • Collaborative Approach: You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, influencing colleagues at all levels.
  • Commercially Astute Professionals: You understand business levers, interpret data, and provide meaningful insights.
  • Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting: You review and challenge commercial targets with budget-holders.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: You can adapt quickly to deliver results on ad-hoc tasks.
