Our client, a fast-growing SME and supplier of products and services to the UK's highly regulated and non-destructive testing markets, are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity, based in Dorchester, working Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Applications must have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to their own vehicle.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Health, Safe, Legal, execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters for the site.
This includes managing budgets, organising schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties and are trained to the relevant standard.
This entails monitoring business performance, monitoring cash flow, overseeing the planning process, supervising the finance team, managing the audit process, developing financial models, working with the underwriters on premium reporting and preparation and submission of monthly reporting and controlling the Management Information output for the business.
An outstanding new role has arisen within a specialist Insurance group and is responsible for the smooth running of the organisation's finance department.
Responsible for providing financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all Logistics administrative work including goods in and good out, stores and any other transactions both at Head Office and Customer sites.
The Role
This role is responsible for accurate and timely administration of all goods passing through the warehouse, ensuring that EHSQ processes are followed, quality is maintained and both internal and external KPIs are met across the operation.
The Logistics Administrator reports to the Operations Manager and provides administrative support to the Logistics team at DQ 120.
