We are looking for a full time Team Administrator to work in this varied and interesting role within the Children, Families and Learning Business Support Team based in our Woking office.
The starting salary for this role is £26,777 per annum working 36 hours per week.
This is a fixed term contract until 1st April 2025.
As an Administrator for the Business Support Team, you will provide detailed and accurate administration support to the Adult Safeguarding Team within the People department.
You will be responsible for arranging meetings, taking minutes and notes at confidential and sensitive meetings, and distributing them.
You will be part of a small, experienced team, who are friendly and welcoming and training, and support will be given.
The Higher Clerical Assistant/Word Processor Operator roles within the Service play a key part in supporting the Multi Agency Safeguarding Team and other Social Worker and Personal Adviser teams in safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children, young people and their families.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be experienced in call handling, data inputting and database maintenance whilst working to agreed standards and strict deadlines.
To use strengths-based approaches to assess, monitor and review the social care needs of service users and informal carers and find appropriate solutions and make appropriate referrals to external agencies within a preventative, enabling and rehabilitation framework and universal services in accordance with the Care Act eligibility criteria.
Take responsibility for managing casework with the supervision of a qualified senior practitioner within an outcome focussed approach and within the teams expected performance targets and outcomes, whilst promoting independence and assessing and managing risk.
To hold an individual caseload of varying degrees of complexity excluding casework that requires the expertise of a qualified professional.
