Team Administrator

The starting salary for this role is £10,710.80 per annum for working 14.4 hours per week (full time equivalent £26,777 per annum). This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

We are excited to be hiring a new part-time Team Administrator to join our Business Support Team working within our Children's Crisis Service. The position will be based at Fairmount House, Leatherhead. If you are looking for a new challenge within a Social Care setting and you are someone who loves to continually improve and learn new skills - we want to hear from you!

This role is open to part-remote working, meaning you will be required to work in the office a minimum of 1 day per week to support with office duties and the remainder of the hours can be worked from home. Please note that the set office day is Tuesday each week 1pm to 8pm. The remaining hours can be worked flexibly.

About the Role
Working within our Children's Crisis Service you will play an integral part in the day to day running of the department. The Children's Crisis Service works with children, young people and their families and professional network to increase support and coping strategies during times of crisis.

Every day will bring a different challenge in this varied and interesting role, which includes:

  • Collection and submission of data to NHS England
  • Use of excel to collate and record data for the team
  • Accessing NHS data base to obtain details for data submission
  • General administrative tasks, including word processing and other tasks identified by the management team
  • Finance and purchasing
  • Diary management, organisational management
  • Minute taking
  • Assisting with the recruitment of staff
  • Maintaining filing systems, preparing correspondence and overseeing the business systems in the team

Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:

  • Prior administration experience in a busy office environment with experience in minuting taking, typing directly onto a laptop
  • Ability to work as part of a team within existing protocols and procedures whilst being proactive and using your initiative within the scope of the role
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in using Microsoft 365 applications eg. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to take a confident, organised, and proactive approach to your work with a commitment to your own professional/personal development
