My client is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Events Assistant to join our team.
They seeking an individual with strong administrative, organisational and time management skills and who has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In this role you will act as the first point of contact for all event queries and coordinate all event bookings ensuring a smooth and professional experience for delegates, sponsors, speakers, and stakeholders.
We are seeking an Events Assistant to provide support to the events team, acting as the first point of contact for all enquires and co-ordinating all events bookings.
As the Events Assistant, you will be responsible for
Acting as the first point of contact for all events enquiries, ensuring all correspondence is managed effectively, professionally and in a timely manner.
Processing all event bookings, ensuring delegate information is complete and accurate.
Responsibility for implementation of policy and procedure, and effective decision-making within delegated authority level, ensuring staff adherence to all directorate policy, procedures and standards
Accountable for effective case allocation, using supervision and analysis of management reports to ensure optimum case management and resolution, to monitor and evaluate outcomes of services against agreed standards, and reporting to Children's Services Management Team as appropriate
Responsibility for planning and delivering services that improve outcomes for children and young people, as set out in the relevant legislation and associated guidance, ensuring that services are sensitive to the needs of children, young people and families, and of the highest professional standards
To work in a small purchasing team to guarantee timely availability of all direct and indirect materials at the most economical prices.
Ensuring your assigned suppliers meet agreed-upon KPIs.
Your success will be evaluated based on supplier performance and your impact on the company's profitability through cost-effective material procurement and availability.
