We are looking for a SEN Tutor with experience of supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties, autism and significant language impairments to create a stimulating communication rich environment for a 17 year old male pupil in Barnet.
ASEND tuition supports SEND pupils and helps them continue their learning while they cannot access school or don't have a school place.
Your main responsibility as Autism Secondary Teaching Assistant in Barnet will be to work in groups and 1:1 with secondary aged children with low to high functioning autism; developing communication skills, supporting progression and independence through sensory play/ learning and various specialised curriculum and resources.

As a 1:1 ASD SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a student with ASD on a 1:1 basis, providing support and assistance to help the student make progress in their academic and personal development.
You will work closely with the teacher to ensure that the student's needs are being met, and maintain accurate records of the student's progress and achievements.
