We have a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist with foundational knowledge of procurement and governance to provide specialist support to the Commercial (Supply Chain) function across processes, systems, supplier management, governance and reporting. As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and engaging with your allocated business function (Tower), ensuring pipeline accuracy and appropriate engagement at the correct level using the correct tools to ensure governance of procurement is adhered to, as required by internal governance and public procurement regulations. You should have previous stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence. What makes this role interesting is we are at the start of a new chapter, with lots of investment, into Commercial, including new tools and systems to be introduced. We are seeking individuals who are well organised, capable of managing multiple work streams, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Candidates who have contributed to one or more of the following are of particular interest: Development and implementation of best practice processes and systems. Working with business system and information management systems to support functional governance. Governance of SCM policies, processes and systems including preparation of material for and participating in audits (internal and external e.g. LRQA, ONR etc.), and reporting risk, savings and benefits. Provision of standard and bespoke business reports, analysis and presentations. Specific responsibilities will depend on the specialism but may include: Working with key stakeholders to manage, maintain and share SCM Data e.g. Procurement pipeline Working with key stakeholders to ensure governance is adhered to for individual procurements through both the internal governance process and public procurement regulations Support change and champion best practice by actively participating in reviews of SCM processes and systems, ensuring adherence, providing training and escalating issues as appropriate. Provide presentations and training to users and internal/external stakeholders to promote awareness of the supply chain function and support compliance.
