Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sandwell for x2 Housing Safety Enforcement Officer.
These are full time, temporary roles until March 2026, and offers a pay rate of £18.06.
The purpose of the role is to carry out enforcement activity dealing with conditions in private sector rented accommodation, having particular regard to tackling rouge landlords who exploit vulnerable communities.
To take follow up action in respect of calls received liaising with customers and issuing work to trade colleagues, contractors and a wide range of council departments.
Receive and process calls from a range of other departments wishing to report or make enquiries regarding a wide range of responsive repairs.
To refer all calls and queries regarding daytime emergencies to the appropriate areas/teams operations officers.
Meet monthly with Children with Disabilities Service Manager, Commissioning Leads and external providers to review the use of the short break provision contracts to maximise usage of the provision.
Deliver an aspect of service delivery, which engages customers / stakeholders and enables them to make effective use of the service.
Administer the requests for resources at the Dudley Quality Assurance Meeting and document and record decisions on the child's electronic file.
