A London Sales Manager opportunity has arisen with an exciting luxury rug brand. The company is already well established and are in the process of opening a new showroom in South West London. They are well recognised for their diverse, high-end rug designs that encompass everything from the antique to the cool and contemporary. The London Sales Manager will be based from the showroom but the role will also involve actively attending external sales meetings. This role will work with both direct consumers as well as interior designers and architects. The company design and manufacture a range of high-end, luxury rug designs, they also work on bespoke and custom projects so there is a lot of creative involvement. Applicants will need to have a strong eye for colour, design and overall aesthetics. Key Responsibilities: Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a self-starter who is driven by success Ensure that customers, both new and established, experience the highest levels of customer service at all times and are updated with new rug products and relevant information Keeping on top of the day-to-day running of the showroom, ensuring excellent operational and visual standards Regularly schedule presentations with design firms to educate on the rug product line and custom service Prospecting & business development of new and existing interior design clients Entertain and participate in local industry events to build and deepen relationships Manage the full client lifecycle to meet and exceed sales goals as well as ensuring repeat business with long term client relationships The London Sales Manager will be required to have the experience of selling to interior designers and architects. This is a varied role involving showroom sales and presentations as well as meeting designers at their studios or offices in and around London. A driving licence would be a big advantage but is not essential. The role is offered on a 5 day per week basis, Monday to Friday. Competitive basic on offer from £38,000 - £48,000 plus commission which would add on a minimum of £10,000 on top.
