Are you a proactive and customer-focused professional with a knack for sales? Our prominent UK distribution client, situated in the heart of London, is on the lookout for a dynamic and astute Internal Account Manager to join their bustling sales and marketing team.

Role Overview:

As an Internal Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing sales inquiries via email and phone, making proactive outbound calls to existing customers to identify their needs, and introducing them to our latest products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Customer Management: Handle inbound inquiries and take orders from customers, ensuring a seamless and satisfying customer experience.
  • Proactive Outreach: Engage in outbound calls to existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Reporting: Generate and manage various reports, from supplier performance to sales analytics, providing valuable insights to the team.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels using our in-house system (full training provided).
  • Order Processing: Update CRM with accurate order details and ensure timely monitoring of deliveries.
  • Customer Support: Address customer queries with confidence and professionalism, maintaining our high standards of customer service.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in a sales role, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to providing top-notch customer service.
  • Proactive Approach: Confident in making proactive calls and capable of thinking quickly to meet customer needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in IT and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with customers and team members.
