The Greater London Authority are looking to recruit a Project Officer on an interim basis to join the Communities and Skills Directorate, specifically within the Skills and Employment Unit.
The successful candidate will manage the budget and performance of the Skills and Employment portfolio, ensuring programme governance, compliance, and successful delivery.
This role is pivotal in promoting and delivering the Mayor's Skills for Londoners strategy and associated priorities.

We are looking for a Project Manager who will lead and manage projects throughout the full end to end process, ensuring all components encompass the agreed customer requirements.
As O & M Project Manager you will work across the project development, design, delivery and O&M functions.
You will support in the delivery of ICP design submissions and project manage the contract management and on site delivery during the network build and commissioning stages.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Contract Management Officer in managing the provision of Waste, Environmental Maintenance and Public Realm services to ensure that the services delivered are of the required quality and, through liaison with the contractors, that they achieve contractual targets and demonstrate improvements.
£19 per hour umbrella; Contract (3 months)
The Role
To support the operational provision of waste and environmental maintenance related contracts and Public Realm Services in order to meet customer needs and expectations and help to achieve related performance targets.
The Programme Manager leads end-to-end project and programme management and the implementation of robust processes to deliver requirements while ensuring value for money.
The role contributes to the long-term financial performance of the companies projects and programmes through effective operational and financial performance management.
Looking for a PM who has experience with DFID who designed programmes either in Education, Health, Charity or similar.
The role requires an enthusiastic support, who is keen to learn, who can work independently across multiple projects at any one time, update and analyse spreadsheets, produce reports, chase external stakeholders for information, plan and prepare meetings and events, take minutes, raise orders and invoices, monitor budgets, routinely keep project information and records up to date, understand and follow corporate policies and processes.
Successful applicants will need to be: team players who are flexible and capable of working with minimal supervision; well organised with the ability to plan and deliver a varied workload; highly capable and well-motivated; excellent communicators.
