We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and contribute to the Home Upgrade Grant 2 domestic retrofit scheme.
This scheme allows the public to apply for energy efficiency grants, and if they qualify, measures such as insulation and low carbon heating are installed in their homes.
The role encompasses a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including
Reviewing and evaluating proposals for energy efficiency improvements submitted by the council's contractor, and making informed decisions to either challenge or approve them.
I am currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Leeds (LS1)
You will work on the Home Upgrade Grant 2 domestic retrofit scheme, where members of the public apply for energy efficiency grants, and if eligible, measures are installed in their homes including insulation and low carbon heating.
The role would be responsible for all aspects of the administrative function.
The role requires an enthusiastic support, who is keen to learn, who can work independently across multiple projects at any one time, update and analyse spreadsheets, produce reports, chase external stakeholders for information, plan and prepare meetings and events, take minutes, raise orders and invoices, monitor budgets, routinely keep project information and records up to date, understand and follow corporate policies and processes.
Successful applicants will need to be: team players who are flexible and capable of working with minimal supervision; well organised with the ability to plan and deliver a varied workload; highly capable and well-motivated; excellent communicators.
They will also need to have strong interpersonal skills and have excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the City Development team in delivering good development in its functions as planning policy maker, and in processing planning applications/consents.
This is a 3 month starting contract with the possibility to extend.
