A service orientated company based in Stevenage are now looking to recruit an Assistant Procurement Manager to join their busy team on a temporary basis, for a period of 3 months.
As Assistant Procurement Manager your duties will include
To support the Procurement Manager in providing the procurement function across the business by helping to develop procurement best practice.
This role would focus particularly on the HRA Housing Function and would be the HRA procurement expert within the procurement team.
Leading a small team to ensure that the correct materials are purchased at the correct price to ensure that production schedules can be achieved to meet customer requirements.
Working in cross functional teams to ensure that NPIs are introduced on time.
We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority who are recruiting for an Assistant Corporate Procurement Manager on a temporary contract, initially for 3 months with opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be CIPS qualified or QBE, with experience working on Housing Stock within a procurement team.
The position is due to start immediately and the day rate of pay is negotiable based on experience.
