Gibbs Consulting is looking for an accomplished Service Desk Support Technician to work onsite 5 days a week and provide reliable, efficient, and effective IT support with a focus on customers based in the EMENA (Europe, Middle East, and North Africa) Region.
Provide customer support and perform service desk incident management.
Track and assign open incidents, collaborating with other service desk colleagues regionally to resolve outstanding incidents.
Offering internal IT support and logging support requests through the IT Service Desk.

Your primary responsibilities encompass providing support and contributing to the development of various IT systems and processes.
You will assume the role of a full-time team member at a Global Pharmaceutical company headquartered in Teesside, reporting directly to the IT Manager and working alongside the Global IT Team.

Main Duties
?The IT Systems Support Technician will primarily be responsible for the smooth running of the hardware and software resources within their Primary Managed Service Site(s), Secondary Managed Service Sites via Designation or any other schools under his / her remit.

As an Infrastructure Support Engineer you will be a strong problem solver with great communication skills who has experience resolving complex infrastructure issues and dealing with escalations.
The ability to work in a high paced environment is essential.
As the IT Field Engineer you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support across the UK.
You will ensure smooth functioning of IT Infrastructure including hardware, software and network systems.
This role will require UK wide travel to provide on-site technical support and maintenance and therefore you must have a valid UK drivers license and your own vehicle.
