IT Field Engineer

As the IT Field Engineer you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support across the UK. You will ensure smooth functioning of IT Infrastructure including hardware, software and network systems.

This role will require UK wide travel to provide on-site technical support and maintenance and therefore you must have a valid UK drivers license and your own vehicle. You must also be able to commute to HQ in Middlesbrough one day a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Meraki networking equipment across multiple club locations.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues within a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware faults, resolve software problems, and address network connectivity issues for both wired and wireless.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and security of IT systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and notifications in a timely manner.

About you:

  • Experience in IT support and network administration roles.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Meraki networking equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to different club locations within the southern region.
  • Previous experience working in a Google/G-suite environment would be advantageous.
