MLC Partners are working with an NHS organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of HR Services for an initial 3 month contract. The organisation is based in Surrey, however this role will be predominantly remote. You will be responsible for the Recruitment and Payroll teams and their service delivery. You will act as a senior member of the HR team, overseeing employee relations and all HR Services and Recruitment/ Resourcing, Payroll and Temporary staffing areas. You will ensure that: HR Services and Recruitment teams concerns and complaints are expertly triaged Complex HR, Recruitment, contractual and payroll advice is given sometimes where no precedent exists and issues are resolved to a high standard, with minimal organisation risk and in a timely manner. Manage the external Occupational Health, Job Evaluation, Payroll and Workforce contracts to ensure robust and timely procedures are in place and full regular audits are completed to a high standard. Provide effective leadership and management, motivate and develop the team, setting targets to ensure maximum effectiveness and productivity; and monitor/manage performance against standards. You must have previous experience of managing recruitment and payroll services in the NHS. You must be available to start within the next 2-3 weeks'. This role is considered inside IR35.
