Our client, a British independent record label, is seeking a HR Manager to work with senior leadership in a business partnering. The position is being offered as a six-month part-time contract, which is three days a week with some scope to work remotely.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating extensively with the HR Lead and senior leadership to deliver effective HR support to staff in the UK and smaller groups in the EU and US (staff population surpasses sixty people).
- Building positive relationships with managers and employees to guide and coach as needed.
- Working to identify where training is appropriate.
- Liaising with the HR Lead with progressing DEI initiatives and track staff satisfaction.
- Supporting with the appraisal of staff development, and fielding employee relations that cover grievances and disciplinaries.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and suggesting modifications where appropriate.
- Developing and maintaining company policies.
- Providing support with the recruitment process.
- Managing HR systems and software.
Requirements:
- Generalist understanding of HR processes.
- Experience working with senior leadership towards business objectives.
- Previous experience working in the music industry.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
- Comfortable working with staff in the UK and US.
- Proactive approach.
- Empathetic and effective listening skills.
