This role is for an HR & Recruitment Advisor who will carry out HR and recruitment duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of HR tasks and effectively coordinating recruitment activities. Description This HR & Recruitment Advisor position, will involve the following responsibilities: Provide first line advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures. Enable managers to reduce sickness absence through pro-active management of long and short-term sickness cases with a person-centred approach as the principal focus. Provide efficient and effective employee relations casework management processes including disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, performance and attendance management. Supporting managers, taking part in meetings, formal hearings and producing notes, formal minutes and reports. Ensuring this is compliant with law, policy and good practice. Provide recruitment advice and support to managers with general recruitment enquiries. Support Senior Management to identify and manage recruitment needs. Prepare job descriptions, person specifications and adverts to be recruitment ready. Advertise vacancies using various attraction methods to source appropriate candidates. Support senior managers with shortlisting, interviewing, candidate selection and ensure that onboarding procedures are carried out within a timely manner to ensure a positive candidate experience. Advice and guide line managers to support the process and completion of family friendly policies within policy timeframes. Engage with line managers to support employee's personal development needs are met through appraisal completions, inductions, and coaching, mentoring, learning and development interventions. Provide a timely response to all enquiries whether received by letter, email or telephone and deal with all enquiries sensitively, effectively and where necessary escalate to the appropriate person to rectify any issues/queries accordingly. To ensure that any documentation required for reports are completed within the defined timescales. Work with the HR Team to support people management training to up skill managers, and spotting areas for development based on queries received by the HR service. To maintain accurate records of all employment related cases and updating department records. To maintain effective and efficient office systems and to make recommendations for improvement where appropriate. To undertake specific projects and tasks as directed. To attend department and team meetings as appropriate. Profile A successful HR & Recruitment Advisor should have: An academic background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in the HR field, especially in recruitment. Adeptness in using HR software and databases. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations. Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with one of our clients to identify an Interim HR Manager / HR Consultant to support a short term restructure project. The role will be c3 days per week for c8 weeks in the first instance. The role will be onsite as will involve face to face meetings and consultations supporting senior stakeholders and managers with a redundancy process. The role requires someone with strong HR restructuring experience gained within unionised manufacturing environments. You should be able to operate autonomously whilst being sympathetic to the wider HR team manging the day to day. The role will also involve some generalist HR activity to support on operational HR as required, for example updating policies and procedures and supporting line managers with wider communications, ensuring the engagement of employees to manage company morale. The role will require 3 days on site, based SE Sheffield area, across the week starting from 8th July, the project is likely to end early September. The ideall candidate must have employee realtions experience. Main Duties: Processing queries and updating HR system Maintaining the HR Database including raising any extensive unplanned absences. Minute taking and write ups. Sources evidence for cases Investigation, disciplinary and dismissal communication Arranging investigations, disciplinaries and grievance hearings and often need to take minutes of those meetings. Managing short term absence cases and probation periods. Onboarding for new starters, sending out offer letters and contracts. Key requirements: HR Employee Relations experience Must be a driver due to travelling between offices 2- 3 years HR experience Strong Administration skills Excellent IT skills Strong people and customer service skills Monday-Friday 9am-5pm hybrid role 40 hours a week.
