Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Part time Administrator/Typist to join our client on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working within an accountancy practice (this is desirable) and possess excellent typing skills in Word, as well as proficiency in Excel.
This role requires a cheerful, friendly, and outgoing personality with a flexible approach and a good sense of humour.
BRC are working with a Housing Association who are recruiting for a new Head of Property Services & Compliance on a permanent basis.
You will oversee the wider team which includes Compliance Officers, Property Inspectors, Building Surveyors (Asset and Repairs), Data Officers and Co-ordinators.
You will report into the Homes Director and have a team of 3 managers directly reporting into you Compliance Manager, Asset Manager, and the Responsive Maintenance Manager.
Ensure we act in accordance with our policies and procedures in all aspects of compliance including issuing orders, data entry and monitoring, chasing certificates and remedial work.
Oversee data analysis including reconciliations, inspections, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data with the goal of, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making in streamlining functionality.
Oversee the monitoring, analysis and reporting of compliance performance (including all statutory reporting requirements) for the Asset Directorate, Executive team and Board as required.

To carry out stock condition surveys to establish building condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components, detailing compliance with Decent Homes and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and identifying any failures.
To carry out EPC assessments including lodging the EPC.
