My client, a local authority is looking for a Head of Facilities Management and Capital Projects with corporate health and safety (CH&S), emergency planning and business continuity.

This interim role will be for an initial period of 6 months but is extendable, and will be based in Bexleyheath, Kent.
The role will primarily be responsible for the proper and efficient maintenance of the installations, plant and equipment across the housing stock.
The postholder needs to be experienced in mechanical and electrical works, delivering both service schedules and reactive works across a broad spectrum to include lifts, door entry systems, alarm call systems, fire safety equipment, water testing, gas energy systems and appliances, communal heating & hot water systems and alternative green renewable energy solutions such as ground and air source heat pumps, solar panels.
This is a key role in terms of delivering services in compliance with health and safety requirements and is wide ranging and complex-covering planned maintenance, inspection and installation of equipment and services.
