Key Responsibilities

Competency Manager required to be accountable for the professional development and pastoral care of resources and will have direct line management responsibilities for these resources, to include conducting regular 121's and annual performance reviews, coaching and development using the relevant continuous professional development (CPD) pathways, as well as ad-hoc pastoral care, supported by the HR Team.
They are also responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the competency framework across the organisation.

The Learning and Development Manager will manage resources and systems, develop strategic objectives, and provide feedback for compliance and improvement.
Working closely with managers, you will address regulatory and mandatory training needs, create annual training calendars, and facilitate individual and group sessions.
As Training & Competency Manager you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to both the FCA's and internal Training and Competence (T&C) regime, which requires firms to be able to demonstrate that relevant staff have the right qualities and competencies to carry out their responsibilities appropriately.
Own, manage and drive the plan for delivering training and competency for new starters aligned to company, industry and regulatory standards.
