Temporary Administration role £12.59 per hour 17th June 2024 - 31st August 2024 37 hours per week MAIN PURPOSE Working within the local authority providing an efficient, effective and high quality administration support service. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To carry out data input work onto spreadsheets and bespoke databases(s) to a high standard of accuracy and maintain as necessary. Interrogate database(s) for information required in day to day work. Collate statistical information from database(s) and re-produce in a professional format. Contribute to re-designing workflows on database(s). Have excellent planning and organisational skills, particularly co-ordinating processes. To maintain both paper and data area records, keeping them up-to-date and to ensure that information that is not to be disclosed and/or is sensitive is treated as confidential and in compliance with the Data Protection Act and relevant procedures. To raise issues preventing the effective delivery of services and propose improvements with the Support Officer. To file quickly and accurately, both alphabetically and numerically. To participate in business support cover arrangements as and when required. To work alongside the wider Business Support Team to provide office and work cover across Business Support teams within the Unit. To attend Business Support Team Meetings as and when required. To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time commensurate with the level of the post. To comply with all decisions, policies and standing orders of the Council and any relevant statutory requirements, including the Equality Act, the Health and Safety at Work Act and Data Protection Act.
