The successful candidate will lead a team with responsibility for providing support for financial management and decision making to a department(s) of the organisation, through the delivery of a wide range of financial services, including the provision of specialist and strategic advice and information to service managers and elected Members, in a way which ensures proper accountability and compliance with statutory obligations and corporate and professional standards.
This is a 3 month starting contract with the possibility to extend.
An interesting new opening has arisen at a leading London NHS organisation for an established finance business partner to deliver a financial management service to a division.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in delivering the financial advice and guidance to operational managers in three clinical areas.
This includes managing the regular monthly financial reporting schedule for the area and continuing the managing and development of a small team of two, which would benefit from some timely support and encouragement.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role provides business partnering support to clinical directorates in all their monthly, annual and ad hoc financial performance and planning activities.
It is responsible for the review of month end divisional positions, the completion of monthly forecasts and consolidation of a divisional monthly performance report, in consultation with the General Manager and the Head of Financial Management.
