About the roleAs an Opticians Store Manager, you will report to the Regional Manager.
Working with your team members you will have the autonomy to run your business and will lead your team to deliver the best customer experience every time.
You will not need previous optical experience for this role although experience in retail leadership is required.
Support the management of the direct and indirect tax compliance processes (namely corporation tax, VAT, plastics tax), which are undertaken by the in house tax team, the accounting shared services centre and/or outsourced to external tax advisers ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
General
The position involves working closely and in collaboration with the business and the accounting services and tax functions locally and globally as well as external tax advisers.
The tax specialist will cover all taxes and it will have a focus on tax compliance and reporting, with opportunities to be involved in advisory aspects.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of allocated P&L lines in accordance with financial period deadlines, applying accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition policies.
