Key Accountabilities
Nurture strong working relationships with the Executive, Senior Leadership Team, and colleagues involved in the delivery of the strategic change portfolio, to ensure that communication is front-and-centre of all change activity.
We are looking for a Communications Officer to support the team in Scotland to respond to Scottish media enquiries, delivering campaigns to influence health policy and support the fundraising and engagement comms activity.
This is a remote working role and applications from individuals who are seeking flexible working options, including reduced hours or job shares are welcomed.
The Press and Communications Officer works as part of the Communications and Marketing team.
This role is responsible for media relations and delivering well planned and evaluated communications campaigns as part of the corporate team which is responsible for managing the press office and the council's social media accounts.
