Main Duties and Responsibilities

As an Assistant Accountant in the Treasury department you will work with five others in the department in analysing the daily bank transactions and working on other Treasury related tasks and in helping in the preparation of Head office accounts.

Help the Group Accountant reconcile inaccuracies Prepare employee wages Maintain petty cash Manage employee expenses claims Help the Group Accountant with administrative duties and preparing month-end reports Prepare information for auditors

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job
As a Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager by taking ownership of essential business processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Management Accounts, VAT, Fixed Assets, and Inventory.
The role, as mentioned, is a reconciliation position where you will be working as part of a team to work through 2-3 years of backlog of bank statements, cash allocation tasks and queries related to each of these transactions.
