An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accountant/Part Qualified Accountant to join a well-established team. The main purpose of the role will be to support the business and Finance Director, ensuring all financial management tasks are completed accurately.
The role will require a hands-on technical accountant, very strong on bank/credit card recs, balance sheet recs, multi-tasking and audit knowledge.
This is a full time office based role, reporting to the Finance Director.
ROLE:
- Undertake daily bank reconciliations.Update managers on bank receipts.
- Compile and post Sales and Purchase Invoices/payments and update
accounts system.
- Maintain stock book movements and stock book master files.
- Running ACNC invoices.
- Putting sales and purchase payments on the bank.
- Preparation of draft monthly management accounts etc.
- To reconcile Balance Sheet Control Accounts.
- Maintain month and year end file of the main balance sheet accounts
- Process and post monthly petty cash, credit card and expenses.
- Prepare data for year-end audit.
- Pension Fund invoicing and keeping records.
- Invoice payments.
- Chase Debtors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Well organised and competent
- Excel - intermediate level or above
- Word & Outlook- intermediate level or above
- Sage
- Group Accounting experience
- Management accounts experience
- Audit experience
- Strong VAT Knowledge
