About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Services Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities in London.
This is a pivotal role ensuring the smooth running of building services, including preventive maintenance, energy management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
Carry out daily plant room checks whilst helping to maintain the company's electrical services and support the maintenance of mechanical plant services.
To ensure that all mandatory, systems, plant, and lighting checks are carried out and maintained to ensure uninterrupted service and prepare the building for opening to the public and our Licensing obligations.
To ensure all life safety of all electrical installations are maintained and kept in good working order, i.e., PA system, fire alarm, secondary lighting; and to carry out first-line response/repairs to these systems.
To provide a professional housing surveying service, all technical aspects of the repair, maintenance, improvement and re-servicing of all HA owned, managed and leased stock in accordance with IDS policies and procedures, assisting IDS to provide an effective responsive repair and planned maintenance service for the organisation.
Carrying out a variety of surveys including maintenance repairs, voids, disrepair and damp, mould and condensation surveys, producing robust reports including technical specifications
These roles will work respectively responsive and planned maintenance teams, supporting various activities with the scope of achieving and delivering excellent service and represent the organisation at high standards.
These roles are also key to the successful delivery of the Regulator of Social Housing's new Consumer Standards and the expectations of Awaab's Law.

We have a lovely role for a candidate with Facilities/building maintenance experience to work in the City of London, the role will be based at front of house, the hours are 9 to 6pm Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for building checks, distributing deliveries to different businesses within the building, checking fire dates and that they are working, meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the building, health and safety, checking the front desk is tidy at all times, locking up at the end of day.
This would suit someone who just gets on with it but also can deal with all levels of people that visit the building, if you have training in health and safely etc that would be useful but full training will be given if not.
