Building Services Manager - London
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Services Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities in London. This is a pivotal role ensuring the smooth running of building services, including preventive maintenance, energy management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Oversee contractors and maintenance staff.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
- Direct, coordinate and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and recycling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Building Services Manager or similar role.
- Relevant qualifications in building services engineering or facilities management.
- Strong understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good analytical/critical thinking.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
