Reed is delighted to support our Belfast client who wishes to recruit a HR Advisor to join their team on temporary to permanent basis. As a Human Resources Advisor, you will report to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources function within the company. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR advice and guidance both employees and management, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Support with investigations into HR-related matters and advise accordingly the appropriate course of action. Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures. Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection and interviewing. Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely onboarding of new employees. Facilitate induction to introduce new employees to company policies culture and procedures. Performance Management: Support performance processes, providing guidance on goal setting and performance feedback. Advise managers on how to address performance issues, implement performance improvement plans and facilitate disciplinary actions when necessary. Training & Development: Identify training needs within the company and coordinate training programs. Policy Development and Compliance: Stay current with employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures. Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Work with management to develop and implement strategies for improving workplace culture. HR / Office related administration Any other reasonable duties at the request of Management. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in an HR Advisory or Generalist role. Strong knowledge or employment laws and regulations. Competent in the use of MS Office Highly self-motivated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desirable - CIPD Level 5
