Our fast-paced and exciting client based in Weybridge is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. As Operations Manager, the successful applicant will oversee administrative functions, optimise sales potential, and facilitate coordination of the administration team. Their primary responsibilities include credit control, payroll management, legal compliance, IR35 adherence, insurance renewals, commercial operations, efficiency maximisation, and performance management. A crucial aspect of the role is maintaining operational efficiency in the absence of the Client Services Director. Core working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday (inclusive) and 8:30am to 5:00pm on Fridays. Ideally you will have a FMCG production background and be able to ensure that the right stock in the right quantity ends up in the right place!! Job Duties: Production planning and scheduling Manage contract partners Oversee accuracy of information in the production management system including goods out to billing Booking of 3rd party movements Site/Office Management, Legal compliance, site Consumables and site Maintenance Supplier Management (e.g. utilities/waste/phone/internet) Management of packaging materials Financial control and Invoice approval Skills and Qualifications: A knowledge of the manufacturing food & drink industry is advantageous but not essential.
