Job Title: HGV1 Store Delivery Driver Company : Pertemps Scotland Location: Falkirk CDC and Grangemouth ADC As a HGV 1 Store Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods from our distribution centre to various stores. You will be responsible for driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV1) while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Your primary goal will be to deliver goods in a timely and secure manner, maintaining the integrity of the products and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a HGV1 vehicle to transport goods to designated store locations. Flexible approach to working within the Legal parameters Load and unload goods, ensuring that they are properly secured and organized within the vehicle. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Plan delivery routes, taking into consideration traffic conditions and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery and mileage records. Comply with all relevant traffic and safety regulations, including hours of service and weight limits. Communicate effectively with dispatch and store personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Use Telemetric and specific routes plans. Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transit. Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety concerns to the maintenance department. Qualifications HGV Class 1 Licence (min 2 years experience) CPC Digi Card No more than 6 points.
