About the Role
Reputable insurance brokerage seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their established team.
The role is servicing the insurance needs of existing customers, providing quality customer care, ensuring that documents are obtained and despatched promptly and all issues raised by the client are effectively dealt with.

We are currently recruiting for a well-known brand of an ambitious broking group, who now seek to appoint a Commercial Account Executive, to come on board to take over and manage a book of business, with the remit to both retain and grow this.
The book currently stands around the £200k income mark and made up of SME to mid market business, with premiums up to £10k, and this would be the area you would be tasked with finding and winning new clients in too.
Full Account Handling support will also be provided, with a team of very experienced Handlers.
You may be required to coordinate third party services that may be required by policyholders following an accident or incident, and should take pride in working in an effective, efficient way being mindful of your client's circumstance.
To ensure that claims are handled efficiently and that payment for valid claims is made to policyholders, whilst being vigilant and aware of potential fraudulent activity.
Main Duties
Answer the telephone in a polite and professional manner, dealing with the query as appropriate and gathering relevant information from the customer and entering it into the Company computer systems, as appropriate.
